The 1st review comment requested outdoor ventilation air calculations in accordance with 2000 IMC, Table 403.3. The resubmitted drawing shows an increase in outdoor air ventilation from 616 cfm to 840 cfm. However, the 1st review redlined comment on the drawing indicated a possible fresh air requirement of 150 cfm for 2-water closets plus 1480 cfm for other interior spaces. The occupied interior space includes an office, work room, cafeteria food service line and customer seating area. Customer food service area and seating area seems appropriate to that of a cafeteria, fast food. Occupancy classifications shall be assigned in accordance with Table 403.3. Please provide detail calculations identifying magnitude of floor areas with associated occupancy classification needed to calculate outdoor fresh air as required. Reference IMC 403.2. |
