Any revisions to this plan will require an additional review and approval by Willdan. 2. Please provide two copies of all submittal documents. Reference IBC 106. ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS: Sheet C1 1. Section Marks 3 & 4 are transposed on the plan. Please review and revise. Reference IBC 106.1.1. Sheet A3 1. Please delete code reference to Pima County. Reference IBC 106.1.1. 2. Please identify FAU unit on the plan. Reference IBC 302.1. 3. The walls and door enclosing the FAU unit shall be shown to have a STC < 50. Reference IBC 1206. 4. Please identify specific screen wall material type for each location. Reference IBC 106.1.1. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS: Sheet A2 1. Please identify basic design wind, seismic design category and site class. Reference IBC 1603. 2. The proposed TJI roof joists have varying spans up to approximately 30 feet in length. For the longest spans, the proposed spacing and joist sizes may be inadequate. Please review and provide manufacturer's design catalog cut for the proposed joists. Reference IBC 1604.4. 3. Sheet M1 drawings indicate an HVAC condenser on the ground rather than the roof. Please review and revise plans as necessary. Reference IBC 106.1.1. 4. Please coordinate wind calculations and delete the reference to the UBC. Reference IBC 1609. 5. Please provide design calculations for masonry screen walls. Screen walls over 6 feet high require special inspection. Please review and clarify. Reference IBC 1704 and IBC 105.2. PLUMBING COMMENTS: Sheet P1 1. Please coordinate location and size of gas piping required for either packaged rooftop unit or FAU. Reference UPC 1217. 2. The proposed new building sewer is shown to connect an existing 4-inch sewer that serves other existing buildings. Please indicate fixture unit calculations for the all the fixtures to be served by the existing 4-inch sewer and the existing sewer gradient. Reference UPC 703. MECHANICAL COMMENTS: Sheet M1 1. The plans indicate a ground mounted A/C condenser, a roof top packaged unit and a gas fired FAU unit in the closet. However, the FAU is not shown connected to the ductwork. Please review and clarify. Reference IBC 106.1.1. 2. Combustion air supply is required to be supplied directly from the outdoors for all gas-fired FAU accessed from bedrooms and all new gas fired water heaters. Please review and clarify size and placement of combustion air supply ducts. Reference IMC 301.3 / IPC 303.3 / IMC 102.8 / UPC 507.2. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS: Sheet E1 1. The FAU unit is required to be on a separate circuit. Please review and revise plans. Reference NEC 422-12. 2. A smoke detector shall be located just outside of the 2nd bedroom. Reference IBC 907.2.10.1.2. ENERGY CODE COMMENTS: Sheet A4 1. Please identify the U value for the proposed skylights and that all glazing shall have a SHGC < 0.4. Reference IECC 502.4.
