All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittal provided. All portions of the project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. ARCHITECTURAL: q Provide elevation drawings showing openings to allow ventilation of the equipment yard. Note that by providing a roof and having sides enclosed, this is actually defined as a building by the code. q Revise sheet T-1 to reflect the additional building area. Also, specify the occupancy designation for the proposed room (equipment yard). Provide a copy of the hazardous materials disclosure form approved by the fire department establishing the occupancy of this room containing flammable/combustible liquid storage and handling. q Clarify that new area will be protected by the fire sprinkler system. Plans require approval of the Fire Department. STRUCTURAL: q Provide complete structural plans, details and calculations for the canopy structure over the equipment yard. MECHANICAL: q Verify that proposed room is adequately ventilated for the use containing chemicals, flammable/combustible liquids. PLUMBING: q There are no plumbing comments.
