| 06/02/2003 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | 1. Coordinate riser diagram with number of units on title page. Sheet A1 depicts 5 units. Electrical Riser Diagram has provisions for 3 new units. 2. Service is rated 400A, which does not appear to be sufficient for (5) units @ 82 A each. 3. Please blow up the Riser diagram if possible. Out standards are Font Size #10, which is just over 1/8" high characters. 4. Understood that it can take awhile to get TEP available fault current for single phase services, but please indicate AFC or start the process with TEP and have the Contractor follow up with this information. Of special concern is the 100A panels, for example the panel in Unit C which is only a few feet from the Service Entrance Equipment. 5. Bedroom receptacles shall be AFCI protected per NEC 210-12 (b). 6. It appears that another outlet is needed on the east wall to meet the spacing requirements of 210-52. 7. Per 210-52 (b) (3), kitchen countertop receptacles shall be supplied by not less than two small appliance branch circuits. 8. Please add the following to #11 in the Electrical Specifications: "All exterior lighting fixtures shall comply with the current Lighting Ordinance." |
