The occupant load calculation is for purpose of determining the number and width of required exits and shall be calculated in accordance with 2000 IBC Sections 1003.2.2. Calculation per IBC Table 1003.2.2.2 gives an occupant load of 304; however, calculating the load for each individual space provide a total occupant load of 357. See red pencil occupant load calculation notes on Sheets 1A-201, 1A-202 and 1A-203. 2. This project has been reviewed for conformance with the 2000 IBC, 1997 UAC, 2000 IMC, 1998 IECC, 1999 NEC codes with local modifications and the 1994 UPC with State of Arizona amendments. Any revisions to this plan will require an additional review and approval by Willdan. ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS: Sheets 1A-201, 1A-202 and 1A-701 1. Doors 1432 and 1433 on Sheet 1A-201 are missing from the Door Schedule. 2. Doors 1512 and 1531 are missing from the Door Schedule. 1. Door 1437 on the Door Schedule is not shown on the floor plan. Sheet 1A-804 1. At Detail D3 for the suspended ceiling, show the required seismic bracing in accordance with IBC Section 803.8 and ASTM C635 and C636. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS: 1. The structural plans and calculation have been reviewed and accepted subject to providing Special Inspection Certificate/Testing Agreement forms as required by the City of Tucson Development Service Department and the structural Engineer of Record on Sheet S-1. PLUMBING COMMENTS: 1. The plumbing plans have been reviewed and accepted. MECHANICAL COMMENTS: Sheets M-1, M-2, M-3, M-4, M-5 and M-6 1. There are keyed note symbols on the plans to clarify/instruct/specify what is to be done; however, there are no legends to define what these key note symbols mean. Please clarify and resolve. 2. Sheet M-5 does not even have keynote symbols. Please resolve. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS: 1. The electrical plans have been reviewed and accepted. ENERGY CODE COMMENTS: 1. The light energy usage has been reviewed and accepted in compliance with the 1998 IECC. 2. The building envelope is unchanged and therefore accepted. ACCESSIBILITY COMMENTS: 1. The accessibility to these three floors is unchanged and is accepted. |
