Note >C=, for under stair protection, is in conflict with the stair at landing and stair at mid landing details. Ref. R314.8. Please revise the details on Sheet A7. 2. Note >a= references R307.2, conflicts with note 7 which refers to UBC, Chapter 25 requirements. Please delete note 7. 3. The attic access reference to UBC 1505 should specify R807 as the applicable code requirement. 4. Please remove note 4 which references the UBC, Chapter 24 requirements for glazing. Revise note 10 to reference R303, R308 and R310. Remove the reference to UBC 2406. 5. Window type W-2 appears to require safety glazing. Ref. R308.4.9. 6. Stair width requires a minimum dimension of 36". Ref. R314.1. Sheet A3 1. The elevations do not show the windows as indicated on the floor plan. Please clarify. 2. The door shown in the west elevation requires safety glazing. Ref. R308.4.1. 3. Provide the ICBO # for the stucco system referenced in elevation note 1. 4. The elevations do not correspond to the site plan. 5. Revise the elevation note 3 for grading to reference R401.3. Sheet A4 1. Section note 17 states that R-30 batt insulation is to be provided at the ceiling. The energy code calculations specify R-38 insulation at the ceiling. Please clarify. 2. Remove the reference to UBC 1804 from section note 3. Sheet A5 1. Joist system notes require that shop drawings be submitted to the architect of record. Please clarify. None of the drawings submitted have been sealed by an architect. If these construction documents were originally prepared by a registered architect, the plans must bear the architect=s seal and signature. 2. Section 7 specifications conflict with the energy code calculations. Please clarify. Sheet A6 1. Detail the gable end bracing connections. Comment restated. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS General 1. Note on the cover sheet that the truss system design to be prepared and sealed by an Arizona P. E. will be a deferred submittal in accordance with IBC 106.3.4.2 or provide the truss design with the next submittal. Sheet A6 1. Complete the shear transfer load path for bedroom 4 wall/terrace as requested in the first review. 2. Detail A/A6 shows 11" TJI members where 91/2" TJI members are shown in section B/A4. In the same detail 5/8" GWB is shown. This also conflicts with the section. Clarify. 3. The star symbol in the holdown legend is noted to represent an HDBA type holdown. There is no HDBA in the Simpson Strong-Tie series. Please clarify the holdown to be used. 4. Indicate which method of wall bracing is intended per R602.10.3 and clearly specify/detail the materials and method/spacing of attachment or provide a lateral analysis. Sheet A7 1. Detail 11/A7 has been mislabeled as 12/A7. Revise. 2. Detail 17/A7 as referenced on Sheet A6 does not appear on this Sheet as indicated. Please provide the detail. 3. Please clarify where the porch condition occurs with respect to detail 16/A7 shown on this sheet and referenced at the south side of the structure in the second floor framing plan. PLUMBING COMMENTS Sheet A9 1. Show the required fullway valve on the discharge side of the meter. Ref. UPC605.3. MECHANICAL COMMENTS General 1. The mechaniccal plan (Sheet A8) was not included with the resubmittal. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS Sheet A10 1. Provide the second small appliance circuit. Comment restated. Ref. E3603.2.
