04/11/2003 JOE LINVILLE LANDSCAPE REVIEW Denied 1) Future sight visibility triangles and the relationship to proposed landscaping should be considered at this time. Plants that will, upon maturity, greatly exceed the height limitations should be located outside of the future svt's. Plants of concern include leucophyllum laevigatum, caesalpina mexicana, and celtis pallida. Show the future svt's on the landscape plans and locate plantings as necessary to avoid any visibility conflicts. Also consider the visual impact of the celtis pallida on the existing monument sign.

2) Identify T3 on the plant list. List quantities for each species. DS 2-07.2.2

3) Screening is required for the refuse storage enclosure opening. LUC Table 3.7.2-I

4) Per LUC 3.7.2.4.A.3 "the area between the right-of-way line and sidewalk and the area between the sidewalk and the curb, if not covered with vegetation, shall be covered with
an appropriate inorganic ground cover, such as decomposed granite." Revise the plans to indicate the required right of way area improvements.
