The following items must be revised or added to the site plan. Please include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed.

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: SITE PLAN
SUBMITTAL REQUIRED: DRAINAGE STATEMENT

1. Written approval is required from John Clark of Solid Waste for the current solid waste proposal. (This was requested previously in comment 2 from the first submittal)

2. Please include a drainage statement prepared by an Arizona Registered Professional Civil Engineer addressing the current drainage for the overall site. Refer to the Standards Manual for Drainage Design and Floodplain Management (SMDDFM) 2.3.2. for the format and content of a drainage statement. The contours on the grading plan depict the drainage to sheet flow towards the east. However the proposed grades show the drainage to be routed northeast towards the back of the property. Floodwaters must be accepted and released from developments essentially at the same locations, and with the same magnitudes, as encountered under natural or existing conditions. SMDDRM 12.5.

On the grading plan a drainage swale is proposed within the street landscape border. The grading plan also depicts two dashed lines that appear to address drainage with use of a scupper. Is this assumption correct? Please identify the dashed lines. Where is the drainage going after the scupper and the street landscape border?

Address both of the concerns in the drainage statement. Refer to SMDDRM, 2.3.2. and 12.5.

3. The above comments can be addressed over the counter. Please call to schedule an appointment, 791-5640 ext. 1140.
