Reference IBC Section 1209. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS 1. Hangers from roof joists shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's details. Ramset screw upward into the bottom flange of a wood member is usually not an acceptable detail, due to real potential for pulling out of the bottom flange of a wood member that flexes up and down. Please review and coordinate. Reference IBC Section 106.1.1. 2. Provide calculations evidencing that the roof joists are adequate to safely support the weight of the intended HVAC units plus 20%. Reference IBC Section 1607.8.2. PLUMBING COMMENTS Sheet P-1 1. Please clarify whether or not the building tenant is provided with a gas meter that is separate from the other tenant space. Reference IBC Section 106.1. 2. Please identify the location where the three-inch building drain transitions to the four-inch building sewer. Reference UPC Section 715. 3. Please identify required ΒΌ per foot slope for building drains. Reference UPC Sections 708 and 718. 4. Please coordinate required fixture units for water supply and sanitary drains. Reference UPC Table 6-3, Table 7-3. MECHANICAL COMMENTS: Sheet P2 1. Provide specification rating for the proposed ait compressor and vacuum pump systems including horsepower and full load electrical power. Reference IMC Section 1011, and NEC Article 220-14. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS: Sheet E2 1. The proposed three-phased 400-ampere service exceeds 225 amperes. The State Board thereby requires the electrical system to be under seal of a registered and licensed Arizona Electrical Engineer. Please comply. Reference Arizona, Section R4-30-302. 2.
