Notes 1, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 do not apply to this project. Delete these notes. 2. On the right hand side of this sheet, note 9 requires approval by the architect for color selection. If these drawings have been prepared by an architect, the must bear the architects stamp and seal. If there is not an architect for the project, please revise the note to indicate color selection approval by the building designer or owner. 3. The porch length dimensions on the floor plan do not match the site plan. Please clarify. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS Sheets S-1 and S-2 1. The ledger specification note does not agree with details shown on Sheet S-2. Please coordinate. 2. Specify on the foundation plan that the concrete will slope towards the garage door to provide positive drainage. 3. Provide the structural calculations referenced on the framing plan for the manufactured trusses or clarify if the trusses to be used are 11?" Truss Joist Macmillan TJI Pro 250 Series members. 4. Top of wall and top of ledger specifications do not correspond to the elevation drawings. Please clarify. 5. Provide the live load and dead load criteria used for this design. As an example (4) #5 steel reinforcing for the interior wall footing seems excessive. 6. It is unclear how the porch to garage framing is to occur. Please provide a detail of this condition. 7. The elevation view titled ledger & truss wall connection appears to be mislabeled. Clarify. 8. Specify the vertical members proposed to support the 5ΒΌ" x 12" GLB and include information for the connection. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS General 1. Revise the electrical notes to reference residential requirements. The IRC is the governing code for this project. 2. The receptacle shown in the garage must have ground-fault circuit interrupter protection. |
