Equipment List: Clarify the quantity of items 31 and 33. The list indicates 2 each, but the plans only indicate one each. Revise plans to correct conflicts. The existing floor sinks under the new front counter/cabinetry shall be located in compliance with UPC Section 804.1, i.e.; they shall be readily accessible for service and cleaning and shall not be with a cabinet. Plans are not sufficiently detailed to verify compliance. MECHANICAL: The hood above the new appliances is not detailed sufficiently to verify the projects 6" minimum beyond the front of the cooking surface of the appliances. Also clarify that the bottom edge of the hood is not more than 4' above the cooking surfaces. See IMC 507.12. If the hood requires alteration, provide complete design in compliance with the IMC requirements. PLUMBING: Provide gas piping schematic detailing pipe sizes, developed lengths, gas loads of existing and proposed sufficient to verify existing system and proposed will be in compliance with UPC requirements. ELECTRICAL: The electrical portion is not sufficiently detailed to verify new loads do not exceed capacity of the existing electrical system. Are any of the existing loads being deleted? Provide panel schedule(s) indicating circuit requirements and loads. |
