Two attempts to reach designer by phone have not been successful. Plumbing Comments (from initial submittal): 1. The applicable code for all commercial plumbing projects is the 1994 Uniform Plumbing Code with Arizona State Amendments. 2. Provide fixture descriptions for all plumbing fixtures. 3. Recalculate plumbing schedule using the values shown on Tables 6-3 and 7-3, UPC 1994. 4. Provide calculations showing water supply piping is sized in accordance with Sections 610.4 and 610.7, UPC 1994. 5. Provide location and size of Reduced Pressure Backflow Preventer (RPBP) assembly and water meter. 6. ABS is not an acceptable material for water supply. Reference Section 604.1, UPC 1994. 7. Resolve differences between the new 3" building sewer shown on Site Plan and the new 3" building sewer shown on Waste and Supply Plan. 8. Provide rim elevation of next upstream sanitary manhole and first floor elevation. Determine need for backwater valve per Section 710.1, UPC. |

PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT LBUCZYN1@CI.TUCSON.AZ.US IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. On single Line Diagram, Conduit B shall not contain the #6 GND, as this would create a parallel path. Such a conductor is not to be installed on the line side of the N-G bond at the service disconnect. This comment was made on the last submittal. Conduit B has not been changed. 2. The #6 ground in Conduit C has been removed, and needs to be reinstated. 3. Panels A and A1 have been penned in to indicate a 22,000 AFC rating. Please verify that A1 indeed has this rating, as it is an existing panel. 4. There is some working on the plans penned in to say "Series Rated 100/10", but the "Series Rated" part has been partially erased. In reproductions, this may or may not come out. In the Short Circuit Calculations as well, it appears as though an attempt has been made to erase certain wording pertaining to series rating, which may or may not reproduce as such. In the case where any text or symbol is to remain on the plans, it shall be definitive. In the case where it shall be removed, it shall not show up unless there is a line through it such that there is no possibility as to intent. 5. Any plans sealed by a Registrant may only be modified by that Registrant, a Revision Number shall be established on the plans, signed and dated, and all revisions keyed to such revision number. The changes on this submittal need to be made in this manner before we can accept them. |
