PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT LBUCZYN1@CI.TUCSON.AZ.US IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. Sheet E1 1. My check on load calculations do not add to the same values as those shown in the spread sheet attached to the submittal. Assumed all RTUs and CUs running and added panel loads from the second sheet to obtain such values. I get the following values: 681A on HP-1, 26A on HLE-1, 29A on LPE1, 269A on T2 (secondary, LD2 621 A), 333A on MDP2, 502 A on MDP1. (77A on T1, 178A on LD1). Total 1840 A on MDS. In any case, in the final analysis the load calculations should go on the plans, at least in summary form. Sheet E4 1. Keynote 18 refers to Panel LP-5A. There is no such Panel Schedule. This comment was made on 11/11/03. 2. Provide disconnects for the refrigeration equipment per NEC 422 Part C. If these units already comply with this Code Section, document such in detail on the plans. 3. Detail 1/E13, called out on sheet E4 for the mac is actually for an emergency exit door. 4. Panel LP-6: circuit 9 is called out as a spare but is shown as serving receptacles on sheet E4. Sheet E4B 1. Circuit LP4-14 has 5 receptacles. On the Panel Schedule this circuit is a spare. Clarify. 2. Circuit LP1-21 has view monitor. On the Panel Schedule this circuit has door operator. Clarify. Sheet E8 1. Show Panels LP10A and LP10B on printed out plans. 2. Panel LP-9: circuit 5 is shown as serving EH-2 (room 117) but EH-2 is not shown in room 117 on sheet E8. E10, E10A, E10B 1. SEVERAL OF THE BRANCH CIRCUITSAND OTHER COORDINATION ITEMS CHECKED WERE NOT CORRECT. HOWEVER, TIME DOES NOT PERMIT A COMPLETE REVIEW. OF MUCH CONCERN IS THAT THERE WERE CIRCUITS CHANGED FROM THE ORIGINALLY APPROVED DRAWINGS WHICH HAVE BEEN ALTERED WITHOUT REVISION CLOUD. PLEASE SEE COMMENTS AS NOTED AND DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE RE-SUBMITTAL. 2. Panel 12 Circuit 15, has PRV5. According to the Equipment Schedule, Sheet E11, this is not used. Please coordinate/clarify. Also note that Keynote 7 on sheet E6 incorrectly refers to detail 17/E12 instead of detail 23/E12, and that Detail 23/E12 refers to PRV5, which is NOT USED!! 3. LP5-37 is a spare on the panel schedule, but has receptacles on Sheet E6. Clarify. 4. Refrigeration Equipment Schedule refers to Panel RCP. No load calculations for such panel on project, yet it has over 100A of load. 5. Panel LP-12: refrigerant alarm panel, circuit 17, is shown connected to circuit 17, LP-2, a spare on sheet E4. 6. Panels HL1, HL2,HLE1, LP1, and LP2 are in Room 138 on the Panel Schedule, but in Room 136 on Sheet E8B. Clarify. 7. Panel LP10A and LP10B are in Room 129 on the Panel Schedule, but are not in Room 129 on Sheet E8B. Clarify. 8. Panel LP12 is in Room 1548 on the Panel Schedule, but appears to be in Room 107 on Sheet E8A. Clarify. 9. Panel LP4 Phase A appears overloaded at 12.7 KVA, 105.8A. Note that receptacles not counted as 180 VA per outlet may not be subject to the demand factor given in NEC 220-13. 10. For Panels LP8 and LPE1, it appears that certain receptacles not counted as 180 VA each have been subject to the demand factor per NEC 220-13. See the above comment. 11. Circuit LP9-6,8 once fed WH6, listed on the Equipment Schedule as being in Room 148. Now this circuit is listed as a spare without revision cloud. Could not find WH6 on othe circuit in project. Room 148 indicated on Sheet E5 near Grid 9-B Detail 2/E8A. Such Detail does not have a Room 148. Please coordinate with your Architect and clarify. 12. Circuit LP7-23 and 25 are powering receptacles on Sheet E4 by Grid 10-C. Are Spares on Panel Schedule. And no rev cloud. 13. Circuit LP7-24 is powering garden center fan on Sheet E4 by Grid 10-A. Are Spares on Panel Schedule. And no rev cloud. |
