5. Coordinate the routing of the drain line between columns 4 and 5, as shown on M2 (rev 4) and M2A (rev 4).
6. A floor sink may not be connected to a grease trap. Grease-producing compartments of the 3-compartment sink should be directly connected to the grease trap. If one compartment is to be used for washing, soaking, or preparing ready-to-serve food, it should be indirectly connected to a floor sink and the floor sink connected to the sanitary drain system. Reference Section 1011.3, UPC 1994.
7. Indicate on the drawing the type of backflow prevention device to be used on the individual pieces of food service equipment and on the cleaning solution dispenser. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 1994.
8. The maximum length for a trap arm is 60". Reference Section1002.2, UPC 1994. Note: "Trap sizes shall not be increased to a point where the fixture discharge may be inadequate to maintain their self-scouring properties." Table 7-3 Note, UPC 1994.
9. Provide trap seal protection for all floor drains. Reference Sections 1007.0 and 1007.1, UPC 1994 with State of Arizona Amendments.

11. The maximum number of drainage fixture units that a 2" horizontal pipe can handle is 8. Reference Table 7-5, UPC 1994.
12. Revise detail 5/M9 to coordinate with floor plan 1/M4. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 1994.
13. Revise total gas meter load to correspond to the values shown on detail 5/M9. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 1994.

IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

Sheet E1
1. New RTU-20 at 7.5 KVA, would be 9.2 amps at 480V. 60 A CB too high to provide overload, ground fault, and short circuit protection.
2. AFC Rating at Panels 10A, 10B, and 11 exceed fault current shown on plans.
3. Regarding the 45A CB protecting RTU-3, it is too large to provide Ground Fault and Short Circuit protection per NEC 440-22 (a). Please re-evaluate this, and all other such units on this project, not just on this submittal.
4. RTU-5 would draw about 20A. Protected by a 20A CB, this breaker may trip on overload.
5. Could not locate Panel LP-2.
6. Could not locate Panel LP-5A.
7. Fault calculations indicate that 12,388 A at HP-1, but 17,373 A at HP-1, in different parts of this Sheet. Please clarify. Same as with ATS.
8. The secondary of Transformer T-2 does not appear to meet the requirements of NEC 240-21 c (3). Conductors terminate in a 800A OC device and their ampacity for copper is only 760. Note that there are not provisions in this Article for rounding up.
9. The secondary of Transformer T-1 does not appear to meet the requirements of NEC 240-21 c (2). Conductors terminate in a 400A OC device and their ampacity for copper is only 380. Note that there are not provisions in this Article for rounding up. Also note that it is impossible to evaluate per c (2) (a) (1), because the load calculations for the panels are not on the plans.

Sheet E4
1. Keynote 18 refers to Panel LP-5A. There is no such Panel Schedule.

Sheet E4B
1. LP-4 Circuit 40 is powering a receptacle on this sheet. Is a spare on the Panel Schedule. Clarify this, and re-check all such "relocated" circuits.
2. LP-4 Circuit 25 is powering 5 receptacles on this sheet. Is only 0.6 KVA on the Panel Schedule. Clarify this, and re-check all such "relocated" circuits.

Sheet E7
1. HLE3-42 has Q3 fixtures. No such fixture on Light Fixture Schedule.
2. HLE3-42 has W3 fixtures. No such fixture on Light Fixture Schedule.
3. LP10B-15 has X5 fixtures. No such fixture on Light Fixture Schedule.
4. LP10B-15 has X6 fixtures. No such fixture on Light Fixture Schedule.
5. LP10B-19 has X4 fixtures. No such fixture on Light Fixture Schedule.

E7A
1. Fixture A9 is in Room 111A. Fixture was omitted from Light Fixture Schedule.
2. On Circuit HLE-15, I get over 3.2 KVA, even before the addition of the "omitted" Fixtures A9. Panel Schedule accounts for 1.5 KVA.

E8
1. WH-6 in Room 148. Equipment Schedule says it goes in Room 119. Also coordinate with Panel LP-11, which calls it WH-5.
2. Provide disconnects for EWH-3 and EWH-4 per NEC Article 422 Part C.

E8A
1. Provide disconnect for EWH-2 per NEC Article 422 Part C.
2. VAV-3-6 on this Sheet, but not on equipment schedules.
3. VAV-3-2 on this Sheet, but not on equipment schedules.
4. WH-5 is on HL3-6 on this Sheet. This circuit is a spare on the Panel Schedule.
5. WH-4 is listed as 4.6 KW on Equipment Schedule, but 2.5 KVA on Panel HL3. Please clarify.
6. VAV-3-3 on this Sheet, but not on equipment schedules.
7. VAV-3-1 on this Sheet, but not on equipment schedules.
8. TF-1 on this sheet, but not on any equipment schedule.
9. Receptacles on LP8-42 this Sheet. Is a spare on Panel Schedule.
10. VAV-3-5 on this Sheet, but not on equipment schedules.
11. VAV-3-4 on this Sheet, but not on equipment schedules.
12. Provide disconnect for ECH-1 per NEC Article 424.
13. There is a Panel LP12 on this Sheet and there is Panel Schedule for this Panel. None on Line Diagram. Add to Line Diagram.

E10, 10A, 10B
1. Provide load calculations for all panel schedules.
2. HL-1 has 24,980 AFC per Sheet E1. Rated at 18,000. Please clarify on this and each panel in this project.
3. Do not accept the concept that we are to consider the entire sheets revised. Use Revision clouds so that we don't have to re-review the entire project.
4. EWH-5 and EWH-6 are on LP-9, but not on equipment schedule. Please clarify.
