IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

Sheet E1
1. Conduit 10 for Aluminum should have minimum #1 EGC per Table 250-122.
2. Conduit 10A shall have 1/0 GEC per Table 250-66.
3. Provide ground fault protection per NEC 230-95.
4. Show available fault current and calculations, as appropriate, at various levels of the system.
5. Generator specifications 16621-3, 2.7, A call for 22,000 AIC rating of transfer switches. It is unclear whether this would be sufficient especially without available fault current at the transfer switches.
6. Rooftop Units do not have overload protection specifically called out on electrical plans, nor in the electrical specifications. The circuit breakers appear to be oversized for the size of the motors. However, the mechanical specifications (15780-4 2.3 Rooftop Units, Sections M and O) explicitly call for overload protection in each phase, minimum circuit ampacity, and maximum circuit breaker size. Please annotate: "Overload protection, conductor ampacity, and circuit breakers for all (RTU) Rooftop Units shall be in compliance with manufacturer's recommendations." Also, coordinate with the Mechanical Engineer to assure that the motor feeders are consistent with manufacturer nameplate information.
7. Specify whether conductors in parallel on Feeder Schedule are in conduit which is paralleled as well, for example, that for (2) sets of conductors there are (2) conduits as well. If not, some feeders may have to be evaluated for conduit fill and temperature derate.

Sheet E2
1. Clarify which panel lights in the Garden Center are on.
2. There is an exit light by Grid 10/F in the Garden Center with no apparent Panel/circuit.
3. Provide catalogue for Fixture G2 and all other outdoor fixtures. Note that any light source over 50 watts shall be fully shielded, per the Lighting Ordinance.
4. Provide calculations for Interior Lighting Power per the IECC.

Sheet E3
1. It is hard to distinguish how many fixtures N1 are on HL-2/25. By linear foot and by counting fixtures this circuit appears overloaded. Please check this and similar branch circuits, such as HL-2/23,27,29.

Sheet E4
1. Show disconnects for hardwired appliances on Panel LP-5A, or specify that the CBs shall be capable of being locked in the open position.

Sheet E4A
1. Same as Comment #1 for Sheet E4, regarding the coolers on Panel LP-3-21,23,25.
2. Circuits on LP-4 appear to be loaded heavier than the panel schedule would indicate. For example, Circuit 22 has 8 receptacles, but is listed as 0.2 VA. Check also Circuits, 17, 19, 20, 21, 24.
3. Circuits 26,28, and 30 on LP-4 each have 0.2 VA on Panel Schedule, but feed more than one receptacle.
4. Recheck all branch circuits on this sheet and the entire project as to proper loading, as this review is not a 100% inspect.

Sheet E6
1. PRV-7 is on the roof and Panel LP-9/21, but not listed on Mechanical Schedule Sheet M11 or Equipment Schedule Sheet E11. Please clarify.
2. Please clarify that MSS (motor starter switch) includes overload protection. Effects equipment such as AC-1, AC-2, & AC-3. Also coiling door on Sheet E8A.

Sheet E8A
1. Provide disconnect for ECH-1 and EUH-1. NEC 422-31 (b). Typical throughout project. Also provide overload protection on EUH-1.
2. AC-3 fan appears on the same branch circuit as AC-3 compressor on roof. However, the fan is 120 V and the compressor is 208. See electrical and mechanical schedule/equipment sheets. Check the same for AC-1 and AC-2.

Sheet E9
1. UH-3 is not listed on the Equipment Schedule, Sheet E11. Please clarify.

Sheet E9A
1. Provide overload protection for EWH-1.

Sheets E10, E10A
1. Show load calculations for panelboards.
2. On Panel HL-3 Ckts 20 & 22, are EOH-1 AND EOH-2. According to the Equipment Schedule on Sheet E11, they are not used. Clarify.
