Only sheets A-1, A-2 and A-3 have been received. Please clarify. 2.Please provide 2 copies of a site plan for this project. Dimension the distances of the structures from the property lines. Sheet A-1 1.A new gas meter is shown on this sheet. Indicate existing gas service lines to be abandoned and the location of any new gas lines. 2.Provide smoke alarms. Ref. IBC 907.2.10. 3.Specify a maximum sill height of 44" for the 5040 XO windows. Ref. IBC 1009.1. 4.Note the ceiling heights of the new den / study rooms. Ref. IBC 1207.2. 5.Note length and width dimensions where the new porches are to be built. Sheet A-2 1.The insulation value for the wall section 3/A-2 is not consistent with the value shown in the energy calculation. Please coordinate. 2.Specify the minimum depth of the anchor bolt embedment. Ref. IBC 1604.8. 3.The general notes specify 1/2" roof sheathing. The plan notes and the structural design specify 5/8" roof sheathing. Revise the general notes to conform to the design specifications. 4.Include the 32" on center dimensioning for the 1/2" bolts at the interior CMU wall as shown on page 10 of the structural calculations 5.Provide a detail of the concrete stem wall referenced in the foundation plan. Clarify on the site plan to be provided where changes in elevation occur. 6.Include the 2" square X 1/4" plate specified in the structural design at the new ledger to the existing stud connections. 7.Provide the item number for the fire-resistance rated walls from IBC table 719.1(2) or specify a rated assembly from an approved testing agency. Reference IBC Table 302.3.3 for separation of occupancy requirements. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS Sheet A-3 1.Verify the structural adequacy of the existing framing members for the additional load from the new mechanical equipment. Ref. IBC 1686.2. PLUMBING COMMENTS Sheet A-3 1.Specify the size of the new gas service, the developed length and the BTU/HR demand at each outlet. Ref. UPC 1217. 2.A/C condensate may not discharge to the vent stack. Revise. Ref. UPC 801. MECHANICAL COMMENTS Sheet A-3 1.Coordinate with structural comment 1, Sheet A-3. 2.Note the proposed method of compliance with IMC 603.14 for exterior ductwork.
