PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT LBUCZYN1@CI.TUCSON.AZ.US IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Regarding the fusetron called for in Note 6, specify that sizing shall be per manufacturer's recommendations for overload protection, or specify fuse sizes. 2. Regarding the hydromassage called out for in Note 17, provide motor, disconnect, overload protection, ground fault & short circuit protection, equipment location, branch circuit conductor and protection, load calculation. 3. Circuit 11 on the One-Bedroom Unit shall have no other outlets than small appliance branch circuits. NEC 210-52 (b) (2). Note that each dining area as well as each kitchen shall have a minimum of 2 Small-Appliance branch circuits. See NEC 210-11 and 210-52. This will effect branch circuits as well as Load Calculations. 4. Bedroom receptacles shall have arc-fault circuit-interrupter protection. NEC 210-12. 5. Show AH-1 on the plans. Provide disconnect and overload protection. AH-1 is included in Load Calculations for both One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom Units, but does not appear on panel schedules. Please clarify. 6. HP-3 is listed on Sheet M-1, but does not appear on the electrical plans. It appears that the intent is to use HP-3 with AH-1 in the downstairs One-Bedroom Unit, and to use HP-2, the package unit, upstairs. Please clarify. 7. Size the conductor for the W/D on the panel for the One-Bedroom Unit. 8. It appears that receptacles in the Two Bedroom Unit do not meet the requirements of NEC 210-52. Add a receptacle on the 3' wall section in the Living Room per 210-52 (a) (2) (a). Relocate receptacles in Living Room per NEC 210-52 (a) (1), add another if necessary. 9. Specify conductor size for Dryer on panel for Two Bedroom Unit, Ckt 20,22. 10. Produce Electrical Site Plan with locations of TEP Service, Service Disconnects, and Panelboards. Per NEC 230-2, a building or other structure shall be supplied by only one service unless permitted by (a) through (d). However, Exception #2 to 230-40 allows one service drop or lateral to supply two to six service disconnects grouped in one location. The City Amendment to 230-40 allows two groups of such disconnecting means tapped from a single service if separated by not less than two feet. Bear in mind that for services exceeding 400A, a Registered Electrical Engineer shall seal the plans. 11. Provide available fault current at TEP service, available fault current and calculations at equipment, and rating of such equipment. 12. Provide IECC calculations for Interior Lighting Power Budget. 13. Provide fixture cut sheet for exterior lighting fixture. Needed to verify compliance with the Lighting Ordinance. |
