Delete unused sheets and/or revise Sheet Index to denote the plan sheets that reflect the work under this permit. Sheet A1.4 1. Specify minimum roof covering class. Ref. IBC Table 1505.1. (Class B is required, however, Sheet 0.1 states Class C.) 2. Fully detail and dimension shower to reflect compliance with ANSI A117.1, Fig. 608.3.2(a). Address curb shown in elevation, and show grab bars for all walls receiving bars. Show control location and height, specify 60" hose. 3. The structure is indicated to be a Type II-A construction, provide plan detailing of all fire resistive construction reflecting all construction requirements as outlined in tested/listed assembly descriptions, or specify the IBC Chapter 7 Tables to be utilized for fire resistive elements. Ref. IBC Table 601 & 703. 4. Provide listed tested firestops for penetrations where protected openings are required at this time, or denote on Cover Sheet as a Deferred Submittal pursuant to IBC 106.3.4.2. Ref. IBC 711. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS General 1. Reference IBC 1405 & 1405.5, and identify on plans type of attachment of exterior brick veneer to steel stud walls. The addressed sheet per response letter is not found with the submitted plan set and Detail 1 on Sheet 3.1 does not appear to comply with the 2 s.f. area maximum per tie. PLUMBING COMMENTS General 1. Response provided does not indicate if backwater valve is currently installed or required. Shower drain is of concern due to flood level at floor. Please verify compliance with UPC 710.1 or note plans that backwater valve requirements will be field verified. 2. Provide specifications for piping systems. Comment restated. No specifications have been submitted for review either in plans or in a separate booklet. MECHANICAL COMMENTS General 1.
