1.Provide 42" clear from centerline of watercloset to edge of lavatory per ANSI A117.1, 604.3.

2.Flush valve for watercloset shall be on the wide side of room. Denote in Detail A. Ref. ANSI A117.1, 604.6.

3.Provide detail/dimensions of sidewall grab bar showing length of bar and total projection from rear wall. Ref. ANSI A117.1, Fig. 604.5.1.

4.Dimension distance from front of watercloset to toilet paper. Ref. ANSI (A117.1, Fig. 604.7.

5.Specify minimum roof covering class. Ref. IBC Table 1505.1.

6.Fully detail and dimension shower to reflect compliance with ANSI A117.1, Fig. 608.3.2(a).

7.Identify room use to the South of this addition and comply with IBC 302.1.1 as appropriate for incidental use areas.

8.The structure is indicated to be a Type II-A construction, provide plan detailing of all fire resistive construction reflecting all construction requirements as outlined in tested/listed assembly descriptions, or specify the IBC Chapter 7 Tables to be utilized for fire resistive elements. Ref. IBC Table 601 & 703.

9.Provide listed tested firestops for penetrations where protected openings are required at this time, or denote on Cover Sheet as a Deferred Submittal pursuant to IBC 106.3.4.2. Ref. IBC 711.

STRUCTURAL COMMENTS
General
1.Provide missing Soils Report as called out on GSN.

2.Reference IBC 1405 and 1405.5, and identify on plans the type of attachment of exterior brick veneer to steel stud walls.

Sheet 3.0
1.Add epoxy grouted anchors to the list of Special inspections on plan.

2.Revise seismic design criteria shown on GSN to provide consistency with the submitted calculations.

PLUMBING COMMENTS
General
1.Verify no backwater valve is required due to elevation of upstream manhole rim elevation. Ref. UPC 710.1.

2.Provide specifications for piping systems.

Sheet 15.12
1.Indicate lavatory faucet shall self-close upon maximum delivery of 0.25 gallons of water or a maximum of 0.5 gallons of water at 80 PSI. Ref. ARS Title 45.

2.Revise Details 3 and 5 to indicate shower as P-3A in coordination with Fixture Schedule.

3.Verify platform height in Water Heater Schematic does not exceed 8' or provide permanent ladder. Ref. UPC 511.2.

4.Water heater TPR indicates discharge over P-4 which is not included in Fixture Schedule. Please clarify.

MECHANICAL COMMENTS

1.Revise Drawing Index in coordination with following comment.

2.All HVAC Demolition and Renovation Plans are crossed out with red pen and indicated as "Not Part of this Permit". With exception of Sheet 15.10, which only consists of detail and schedules, no HVAC Plan is provided for Health Room addition. Please clarify.

3.Provide Energy Calculations as outlined in 1998 IECC, Section 101.4.2.1.

ELECTRICAL COMMENTS
General
1.Please show on plans items that are existing and items to be relocated. Some sheets are redlined and marked not part of this permit. Please mark all new electrical equipment.

2.Sheet 16.11 shows in bold lines the following items as new:
