Ina Road Tucson, Arizona 85741 SUBJECT: Finisterra Community (D03-0017) Grading Plan T03BU03223 (Second Review) T14S, R15E, Section 06 RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Grading Plan and Drainage Report The Grading Plan (GP) and Drainage Report (DR) cannot be approved as submitted. Please address the following review comments prior to the next submittal. Grading Plan: 1. Please include a response letter to the comments along with the corrected copies with re-submittal. 2. The discharge onto Camino Serna exceeds the maximum allowable street flow of 50 cfs per D.S. 3-01.4.4.A. Please include a cross section of the street with the WSEL included in the DR. The Average Velocity and Average Velocity Head have too much energy to approve the increase in the cfs. Perhaps an increase in the retention or a reduction in the discharge may solve this issue. The addendum to the DR shows new a wall openings along Camino Serna (two locations). The discharge still amounts to over 50 cfs. This is not an acceptable alternative. Please resolve. Per previous comment. 3. Provide details and show dimensions for all basins. The GP did not include any details on this submittal as the response letter indicated. The dimensions provided are acceptable, however they not to the degree I was expecting. The basins must be dimensioned properly in order to construct and inspect properly. Please dimension and show cross sections of all retention basins with transverse and longitudinal slopes. Per previous comment. Drainage Report: 1. Provide details and show dimensions for all basins. The DR did not include any details or dimensions on this submittal as the response letter indicated. The dimensions provided are acceptable, however they not to the degree I was hoping for. Per previous comment. 3. Percolation testing is required to be included in the drainage report per Storm water DET./RET. manual in II 2.2. Per previous comment. Stormwater pollution prevention plan: 1. The SWPPP is accepted.
