DATE: May 13, 2004 ACTIVITY NUMBERS: T03CM05845/T03BU03175 SUMMARY: Engineering Section has reviewed the Drainage Report, Site Plan and Grading Plan received on 15 January 2004. Approvals are not recommended at this time. Please address the following comments: DRAINAGE REPORT: 1. Please provide percolation test results with the resubmittal. Test results are required to be submitted with the drainage report, in accordance with section 3.5.1 of the Pima County/City of Tucson Stormwater Detention/Retention Manual. Testing shall be performed in accordance with the recommended procedure of the Pima County Department of Transportation - Flood Control District. SITE PLAN AND GRADING PLAN 2. The percolation tests must show that the basins must be able to drain within 12 hours. If the percolation tests do not confirm this, the site and grading plans must be revised appropriately. SWPPP 3. Section 10.1.4 on page 6 of the SWPPP, identifies an operator for the Lakeside Parkway Office/Apartments development. Please identify an operator for this project. 4. Part IV.D.2.c. Describe the practice and schedule to routinely remove offsite accumulation of sediment. 5. Part IV.D.4.c.i. Maintain records of the dates when major grading activities occur. 6. Part IV.D.4.c.ii. Maintain records of when construction activities cease (temporarily or permanently). 7. Part IV.D.4.c.iii. Maintain records of when stabilization is initiated and completed and any reason for delays. 8. Part IV.D.4.c. Describe record keeping efforts; include forms/checklists used for keeping the required data. 9. Part IV.H.1. Indicate that the inspection frequency is to be at least once every 7 calendar days or Indicate that the inspection frequency is to be at least once every 14 days and also within 24 hours of the end of each storm event of equal to or greater than 0.5 inches GENERAL COMMENT: A right of way permit will be required for any proposed work in the right of way.
