| 08/28/2003 | LAITH ALSHAMI | ENGINEERING | REVIEW | Denied | Laith Alshami, Engineering and Floodplain review, 08/28/2003 Grading Plan: 1. Show roof drainage for all proposed buildings and provide walkway/sidewalk scuppers for roof drains. 2. Show the existing contour lines within the proposed buildings areas in order to determine compliance with the differential grading requirements. 3. Provide the detention basin dimensions and exact location (i.e. stations, distances, etc.). You may include the Horizontal Control Plan as part of the Grading Plan to provide the basin location information. 4. Demonstrate that the detention basin will be graded to provide positive drainage and will not allow any nuisance ponding. 5. The detention basin inlet and maintenance access dimensions shown on sheet 2/3 appear not match the dimensions shown in detail B/3 on sheet 3/3. Revise as necessary. 6. All drainage structures (basins, channels, erosion control structures, etc.) require construction details to allow the contractor to construct them correctly and in the right locations. Revise as necessary. 7. Submit a Geotechnical report that addresses the stability of the proposed slopes. 8. Any work proposed within the 100-year floodplain requires a Floodplain Use Permit (FUP). Submit a FUP application promptly. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 791-5550 x1159 or lalsham1@ci.tucson.az.us.
