Speedway Blvd. Parking Plan/Site Plan TRANSMITTAL: October 11, 2002 Upon completion of the following revision/addition, an over the counter review may be arranged to obtain stamped approval by the zoning review section without resubmitting the site plan. The following item must be revised on or added to the site plan: 1. Now that 107 vehicle parking spaces are to be provided, 5 handicapped accessible parking spaces are required per IBC Tale 1106.1 and access aisles and access ramps must be provided in accordance with American National Standard Chapters 4 and 5. A new handicapped parking space has been added to the parking lot at 1149 N. Bryant Ave (Parcel III), which makes a total of three h/c spaces shown on this site plan. Provide a copy of the stamped approved parking plan from 1124 N. Bryant and 4201 E. Speedway, across the street, to show that at least two additional h/c spaces are provided there and that all other parking calcs are accurate. Please revise handicapped accessible parking detail drawing to show the curb ramps and their slope. Also, show that there is continuous circulation/access to the building from this parking area. The sidewalk in the public right-of-way along west sided of Bryant Ave appears to end at the north end of parcel II. Please explain. If there is no sidewalk to the north of this point it may be necessary to provide h/c parking elsewhere on the site in order to meet Development Standards/ accessibility requirements.
