PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT LBUCZYN1@CI.TUCSON.AZ.US IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. Sheet E-3 1. Branch circuits for the INSTA HOT units are called out as single phase on Sheet MP 2 but are on 2-pole breakers. Circuiting implies two hots, that is 240V. Please correct/clarify. 2. This is not an electrical code issue, but Sheet MP 2 calls out for two different evaporative coolers, EC-1 and EC-2. Same electrical parameters, but one is 1800 CFM and the other is 3280. This may need clarification. Sheet E-4 1. On Panel 8, the feeder load calculation, according to the figures shown, totals 149.6A on a 100A panel. This contradicts the 64.7A on the most heavily loaded phase. My calculations total 13726 VA for the panel, for an average 57.2A. Please check, clarify/correct as necessary. Circuit 2, which powers 8 receptacles, should have 1440, not 1260 VA. Sheet E-5 1. Suggest that Keynote B applies to panel on Keynote 6, which refers to Panel 7, rated at 200A. Using the #2 to feed the only 200A panel, I suspect, was not the intent. 2. Load calculation for Service #1. My check for total comes to 63,611 VA, not 59,311. This would bring the total to 265.0 A as opposed to 247.1. Not a code issue, but it would be more accurate. |
