Note: Two 2" vents have a combined cross-sectional area of 6.8 square inches; a 3" waste line (the minimum size required by Table 7-5) has a cross-sectional area of 7.4 square inches. 3. Provide a backwater valve in the building drain (the upstream manhole rim elevation is higher than the first floor elevation of the building). Reference Section 710.1, UPC 1994. |
