This is necessary for micro fiche. 2) See the red line set in addition to written comments for further clarification. 3) Please return the redline set along with your next submission. This will assist in my second review. SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT 1) Page 16050-8 paragraph L #2. This sentence implies the wire under the pavement such as a parking lot does not need to be at least +24" deep. See 99NEC Table 300-5 and revise specification as required. 2) Page 16130-4 3.2 A. This specification requires conduit underground however UF is specified on the plan. Clarify on the plan and in the specification what wiring methods are allowed for both interior and exterior. E1 1) It appears the circuitry for pole lights should be HP1-32,34. See page E8. 2) It appears the ground wire size described by General note 5 must be increased to a minimum #8 copper. 99NEC 250-122 E2, E3, E4 1) All exit and emergency light must connect to the unswitched side of the lighting circuit serving the area. 99NEC 700-12(e) E2 1) The light in the elevator equipment room must be on the same circuit as the receptacle (HP1-24). The light should be connected to the line side of the GFCI 2) The dry pipe compressor specified by General note 8 does not appear in panel HP1. 3) All exterior lights must have a minimum efficacy of 45 lumens per watt. This is typical of types C, D. See page E5 for fixture types . See IECC 705.5. 4) 99NEC 620-22 requires one circuit per elevator to serve the elevator lighting. See general note 13. 5) 2000IBC 1003.2.11.2(4) requires emergency lighting on the exterior exit discharge immediately adjacent to the exit discharge. E5 1) Provide the conductor size for the range. 2) 99NEC 210-8(a)(6) requires receptacles above the peninsular counter top for both units A and B (circuit 7) be GFCI protected. E6 1 Taps to the 30 and 20 HP elevators require a minimum #4 copper ground. 99NEC250-122 2 99NEC 620-62 requires Selective Coordination for the elevators. Provide a coordination study. Utilize AFC on load side terminals of the elevator controllers. 3 99NEC 250-122(f)(1) requires #2 copper ground in each set of parallel feeders specified by note #3. E7 1) It appears EF/2 connects to MP1-23 not HP1-1 as shown. 2) Both F2 and F5 are described as 120 V however on page E8 HP2-21,23 and 25,27 describes them as 208 v. 3) It appears EF3 should circuit to panel HP2-19 however it is not in the panel. See page E8 4) See comment E7 #2 above for F1 and F4. Disregard comment E8 #1 if F1 and F4 actually circuit to MP1-29,31-33,35 respectively. 5) See comment E7 #2 above for F3 and F6. On page E8 F3 and F6 circuit HP3-18,20-22,24 respectively. E8 1) MP1-14 should read F/1 not spare as shown. See page E7. |
