Please revise ASK-0676 to reflect a 2-hr fire resistive enclosure for that portion of the Elevator Shaft Vent Duct that is not within the hoistway shaft and not within the Elevator Machine Room. See Detail 01 where duct exits the shaft and turns 90° below the floor slab of the Machine Room. Ref. IBC 3004.2, or since IBC does not require venting of hoistway in a sprinklered building it may be an option to request interpretation from the Building Office that the duct work penetrating the shaft is part of a smoke control system. Ref. IBC 707.8, 707.10, 715.52). Otherwise, a damper would be required at the penetration, however, such damper would defeat the purpose of the vent when/if damper was activated. 2. Please specify size of duct and louver in ASK-0676. Ref. IBC 3004.3. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS Sheets E102, E201 and E601 1. Indicate if Delta K is part of this revision (K is not shown under Delta Revisions). 2. Delta 15 is not shown in Delta Revision. Delta 15 appears to be a part of revision (add to all sheets). 3. Provide note to address service disconnect for fire pump service. 4. Provide proper grounding, bonding and common grounding electrode. Ref. NEC 250-50, 250-58, 250-90, 250-122 and 250-105(a)(3)(4). Sheet E401 1. Remove diesel pump and revise room for electrical fire pump. 2. Indicate if Circuits LEM 13, 15 and HEM 8, 10 and 22 remain the same. |
