04/08/2003 CRAIG GROSS ZONING REVIEW Denied Site plan approval required prior to building permit approval.
04/08/2003 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. The routing of the condensate drains for units #5 and #6 is physically impossible. Reference Sections 307.2.1 and 307.2.2, IMC (2000), and Section 807.2, UPC (1994).
2. Reconfirm the invert of the two building drains where they exit the buildings. Horizontal drainage piping requires a uniform slope of not less than ΒΌ" per 1'-0" (Section 708.0, UPC (1994)) and a minimum cover of 12" outside of the building (Section 718.3, UPC (1994)).
3. Reconfirm the invert at the point where the two building sewer lines meet. The present invert contradicts the stated slope of the building sewers on drawing C1.1.
4. Confirm that the invert of the HCS is low enough to allow the plumbing fixtures to be drained by gravity.
5. Recalculate plumbing schedule (shown on P1.2 and P1.3) using the values shown on Tables 7-3 and A-2, UPC (1994).
6. Recalculate pressure loss calculations and resize pipe in accordance with Sections 610.5 and 610.6, UPC (1994).
7. Revise routing of the T&P relief drain lines; no part of a T&P relief drain line may be trapped. Reference Section 608.5, UPC (1994).
