11/21/2002 JIM EGAN FIRE REVIEW Approved
11/21/2002 MARTIN HAEBERLE BUILDING-RESIDENTIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Remove deferred submittal of metal drawings from sheet T.1
2. Please clarify seven-foot fence on plans. A.1 indicates new and sheet T.1 indicates existing.
Provide calculations and details for seven-foot fence. The fence by definition would be considered an exterior wall of the building
11/26/2002 LINDA BUCZYNSKI ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Electrical parameters of new sump pump need clarification and correction. Sheet E.1 calls out 1PH, 208 V, 3 HP. Sheet E.2 Panel Schedule shows the pump on a 3 pole breaker, and the VA calculations appear to correspond to a 3PH, 208 V, 1 HP motor. Sheet MP.1 calls out a 1 HP, 240 V, 25 A motor. A I HP motor does not draw 25 A. Table 430-150 for 3PH, Table 430-148 for single-phase full load currents. Also please correct circuit numbers for the new sump pump as 38-40-42, not 30-40-42.

2. Lighting Fixture "B" does not meet the requirements of the 1998 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), which requires exterior lighting sources to have a minimum efficiency of 45 lumens/watt. (705.5)

3. Although this is not a Code issue, if the intent was to provide all new receptacles as GFI, those on Circuits 21, 23, & 25 are not called out as such.

4. Provide fault calculations to show how 20900 AIC was determined at entrance to new CT can.

5. Interior lighting power appears to meet the requirements of the 1998 IECC. However, the calculations should have been included in the submittal.

6. Circuit designation "31" NW area of the installation appears to be superfluous. See the notation on the plans.
