02/28/2002 | RANDY SCHULER | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | E2 1) Keynote 7 requires a #6 equipment ground. 99NEC 250-122 2) Provide a #6 equipment ground throughout the circuit typical 5 places. Typical for the lighting, scoreboard, and receptacle circuits. 99NEC 250-122 3) Field #1 load appears incorrect. Utilizing a Lithonia High Power Factor fixture the 1500 watt metal halide fixture draws 3.5 amps at 480 volts. Utilizing the phase layout provided, the total B and C phase current at 125% is approximately 64 amps. The Musco specifications do not indicate a disconnect at the pole thus the design appears to be in violation of 99NEC 210-23(d) which prohibits circuits larger than 50 amps for lighting circuits. E3 1) Provide a #6 equipment ground for the receptacle and scoreboard circuits originating from panel 'SSL'. 2) It appears the circuit from PB#7 to senior field #5 pull box should be 3#2,1#6 gnd and 8#6, 3#6 gnd. In addition the circuits from the control panel to PB#7 should be 3#2, 1#6 gnd. 99NEC 250-122 3) The service drawing indicates a 60 amp fuse for the lighting circuit. See comment E2 #3 above. E4 1) The service load calculations do not appear to be correct. How is it that you deducted the loads for fields 2 and 3 from the total load? In addition the field #1 lighting load for this project appears incorrect. 3) Provide fixture cuts, and place the appropriate catalog numbers on the plan. E5 1) The field #1 load appears incorrect. |
