If the building is heated or cooled, building envelope calculations are required for the system performance in compliance with the requirements of the 2000 International Energy Conservation Code ( IECC ). Commercial buildings shall meet the requirements of ASHRAE/IES Energy Code for Commercial and High-Rise Residential Buildings with the exception of commercial buildings that comply with Chapter 7 of the 1998 International Energy Conservation Code. Provide details, and specifications on the plans showing compliance with energy regulations. Ie; Specify R-values of wall and roof insulation, U-values for windows, doors, and skylights, and shading coefficient for windows shall be indicated on the plans.
Development, embedment and hook length of anchor bolts in the foundation concrete are design responsibility of the engineer of record.

Soils report recommends a maximum bearing pressure of 1000 psf at a minimum of 18 inches below the undisturbed ground surface.

Plans need to be reviewed by the engineer for compliance with the above requirements.
