Please indicate how the development will mitigate for the impacted vegetation. LUC 3.8 and DS 2-15. Per the Tucson Land Use Code, section 2.8.6.5.E., temporary fencing is required. No grubbing, grading, or construction will occur on a project site which includes areas designated to be retained in a natural state until those designated areas are temporarily fenced. Please indicate on the grading plan tempoary fencing. All temporary fencing will be field inspected before any construction on the site begins. Fencing will be removed only on completion of construction. Please refer to LUC 2.8.6.5.E. To schedule an inspection please call 791-5550 ext.140. Please include on the plan the following Development Standards frome section 9-04.0.0 Hillside Development Site Improvement; 3.3 Slope Stabilization. All slopes steeper than a ratio of three horizontal to one vertical (3:1), with the exception of retaining walls, will be stabilized with properly engineered stone riprapping or sculptured rock as follows. A. Stone riprapping will be hand-placed on the slope. B. The stabilizing material used will blend with the natural appearance of the site or lot and the surrounding terrain. C. Vegetation retention and revegetation should be used in conjunction with riprapping. |
