SUMMARY: Engineering Division of Development Services Department has received and reviewed the Grading Plan resubmittal for Lots 70-73 access improvements and the private street grades, including response letter. The grading plan and floodplain use permit are recommended for approval.

CONDITIONS ON GRADING PERMIT:
1) The following conditions will be added to the grading permit once approved:
a) Call for Pre-construction meeting. For a DSD Engineering Inspection, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Development Services Department, or contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 extension 2101, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html
b) For inspection purposes, please fill out the enclosed "AZPDES - Posting Requirements" green sheet, and post at construction entrance of the site at beginning of construction activities and maintain this posted document throughout project construction.
c) A Geotechnical Engineering inspection will be required prior to final grading inspection if any cut slopes steeper than 2:1(H:V) are constructed, per September 17, 2004 Rock Slope Evaluation Geotechnical Letter by LMT. Special Inspection would be required by Geotechnical Engineer for 1:1(H:V) slopes, or any slopes steeper than 2:1(H:V). Copies of the Geotechnical Evaluation would need to be submitted to DSD Engineering Division Inspector or office prior to scheduling Final Grading Inspection.
d) Individual grading permits are required for each lot.
e) As-built grading plans are required for the private street construction at final grading review for the subdivision.
f) Any toedown or cut-off walls shall be inspected by DSD Inspector at time of or prior to backfill.
