03/08/2002 PATRICIA GILBERT LANDSCAPE REVIEW Denied On the landscape plan a 5' screen wall is proposed in a section of the street landscape border and not shown on the site plan. Please clarify. Refer to D.S. 2-07.2.1.A.

Screens are to be located on the development side of the street landscape border so that the landscaping is visible from the street. The wall must be constructed in a single continuous line and extends into a street landscape border no more than the actual width of the fence or wall. The proposed screen wall appears to be located 3 to 4 feet into the street landscape border. Please revise plan accordingly. Refer to LUC Sec. 3.7.3.2.C.

The trash enclosure must be screened from Haskell Drive with a gate that has the same characteristics as a wall (i.e. solid steel gate). Refer to LUC 3.7.2.I.

Revise the landscape plan as necessary to accommodate the changes with the SVT's. Refer to D.S. 2-07.

Decomposed granite is required in the right-of-way area along Haskell Drive between the property line and the street curb. Revise plan to show decomposed granite in the right-of-way. Refer to LUC Sec. 3.7.2.4.

The parking area must be screened from the property to the north with a 5' screen. Currently the plan depicts a 5' wall to screen the parking area from the north property, however the wall does not extend the entire length of the parking area. Please revise plan to extend the 5' wall the entire length of the parking area. Refer to LUC Sec. 3.7.2.I.

The planting plan should include both the proper and common name of each proposed planting. Currently, the planting legend only lists the genus of the proposed planting, Teucrium and Hibiscus. Please revise plan accordingly. Refer to D.S. 2-07.2.2.A.1.d.

Plant selection for landscaping is required to be from the Drought Tolerant Plant List found in the Development Standard 9-06.
03/08/2002 PATRICIA GILBERT NPPO REVIEW Denied Identify the native mesquites to be preserved on the landscape plan. Refer to 2-07.2.2.A.1.e.
