| 11/30/2001 | RANDY SCHULER | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | GENERAL COMMENTS 1) Provide all exterior fixture cuts along with their catalog numbers. The catalog numbers must correspond with the fixture schedule. 2) Provide IECC lighting budget calculations. Note this facility is allowed 1.7W/FT2 and appears to comply. 3) Return the plans I have already reviewed along with your next submission. Failure to do so will result in an extended turnaround time as I need the original plans for comparative purposes. E1.1 1) Revise the fixture schedule on page E1.1 and E4.1 to reflect the LSI submittal intended to replace the B fixtures. 2) Circuit B-27 serves a direction sign however on page E2.2 it is shown as a spare in the panel. E2.1 1) Provide a service lateral design. Include conductor and conduit size, quantity, number of parallel sets, and conductor and conduit type. 2) The utility published fault at the secondary terminals of their transformer is 55,600 amps. Assuming a 15' run of parallel copper conductors in PVC the fault at the service is approximately 49.2 kA. 3) Revise fault calculation number 2 to reflect 1/0 as opposed to a number 1 conductor. 4) Clarify that the "Extension Table" is included in the load summary. E3.1 1) Circuit A-21 and A-42 (items #10 and #10A in the equipment schedule) require a minimum 30 amp receptacle. 99NEC 210-21(b)(1) 2) Circuit A-14 which serves a 3.5 kVA drink system ( item 6 in the equipment schedule) cannot be served by a duplex receptacle. 3) Change the 1996 422-25 reference regarding appliance disconnects to 99NEC 422-31(b). E4.1 1) Provide fixture cuts and catalog numbers for key notes #2 fixture. 2) Revise the B and B1 descriptions in the fixture schedule to accurately reflect the substituted fixture. E5.1 1) RTU-2 should be served by circuit B-32,34,36 and from panel A as shown. E7.1 1) Revise the receptacle description in detail 4 for the menu board. The receptacle should be a L5-20 as the breaker serving it is rated 20amps. 99NEC 210-21(b)(1) |
