09/12/2001 | RANDY SCHULER | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | E1 1) There is a P fixture in the northeast portion of the circular drive that is not clearly circuited or phased. 2) Provide circuitry for the R fixtures under the parking canopies. 3) Provide fixture cuts and catalog numbers for the P type fixtures. E2 1) There are (2) receptacles located in room 113 that should be connected to circuit X-9 not X-5. 2) Provide design, circuitry, disconnects, fusing, and location for FCU-3 and CU-3. See Mechanical plans for details. 3) Provide design, circuitry, disconnects, and location for HW 1 and 2. See Plumbing plans for details. 4) Provide an interlock electrical design for the exhaust fans 2 and 3 and FCU-1. See EXHAUST FAN SCHEDULE page M3.0. E3 1) Provide an interlock electrical design for the bath fan (EF1, Y-23), the bathroom lights, and FCU-2. See note #3 page E3, and EXHAUST FAN SCHEDULE page M3.0. 2) Circuit Y-23 serving EF1 should be circuit X-23 and a load of 667VA should be added to the panel. 3) The "I" fixtures are specified as 120 volts however they are connected to 277V circuits Y-16, and Y18 In addition circuit X-14 serves 120V fixtures however there are 277V emergency fixtures and "D" fixtures connected to it as well. 4) Circuit A-5,7 between columns 10 and 11 should be circuit X-5,7. 5) Compare all the lighting circuit loads and designations to the panel loads. There appear to be inconsistencies. E4 1) Clarify the numeric symbol 1 in panel Y. 2) Circuit X-35 and X-36 should be EF3 and EF2 respectively. Please clarify in the panel. 3) Provide 15 amp circuit breakers for circuits X-35,36. This will provide the necessary short circuit protection per 99NEC 430-52. 4) The mechanical plan (M3.0) indicates CU-1 and CU-2 are 208V/3 phase. See circuit s Y-31 through 41 and the AC Electrical Schedule. Page 2 of 2 E4 5) Provide loads in the panel for circuits Y-28, Y-15, and Y-17. Y-28 serves 1 or 2- 150W MH for the type S fixtures, Y-15 serves 4B and 8C fixtures, and Y-17 serves 4M fixtures. 6) Clarify the actual load for WH-1. It is shown as 16.2/9.4 amps. Please note the load in the panel (Y-25,27,29) indicates 9.4 amps. If 16.2 amps is accurate revise load and increase circuit size to 25 amps minimum. 7) The grounding electrode conductor and the equipment ground on the secondary side of the transformer must be increased from #6 copper to #4 copper minimum. See 99NEC 250-28, 30. 8) Several NEC references in the Electrical Service Grounding Detail are incorrect. NEC 250-79 should be 250-28, 250-91(a) and 250-92(a)(b) should be 250-Part C, 250-94 should be 250-66, 250-81,83 should be 250 Part C. |
