| 09/12/2001 | RANDY SCHULER | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | SECOND REVIEW THE ORIGINAL COMMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN ADDRESSED. E1 1) Provide fixture cuts for all exterior fixtures. The fixture cuts must include catalog numbers that correspond with the lighting schedule. See Light Ordinance 8210 for cut off requirements. 2) The lamp types in the fixture schedule for D and FEM appear to be incorrect. 3) Circuit A-13 requires a load in the panel. 4) Switching must be provided which will provide a uniform 50% reduction of the lighting load in every room except the bathrooms. See 1998 IECC section 705. E2 1) The bath receptacles must be GFCI protected. 99NEC 210-8 2) Circuit B-14,16,18 serving the single A/C unit should circuit to B-2,4,6. 3) The equipment ground in the tap from the #2 feeders to each A/C must be a minimum of a #8 copper. 99NEC 250-122. E3 1) The feeder conduit serving panel HP is too small. 99NEC Appendix C. 2) Provide the lateral conductor size, quantity, and material type. NOTE: Do not install an equipment grounding conductor in the lateral. 99NEC 250-30(a)(1) ex1, 250-32(b)1, 310-4, 347-4 ex2. 3) Panel HP should be specified NEMA 3R. 4) It appears note 7 under "Series Rated Information" should reference 99NEC 240-86(a). E4 1) The City of Tucson has adopted the 99NEC. Please revise all code references to reflect this. GENERAL COMMENTS 1) Please return the prints I have already reviewed for comparison purposes. This will assist in an expedited second review. |
