08/17/2001 | RANDY SCHULER | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | E1.1 1) Provide a fixture cut and catalog number for fixture type D. NEW: Revise the fixture schedule on the full size plan sheet, the 8x11 sheet is not acceptable. Provide a cloud and delta, revision number, date, and signature of responsibility. 2) The North arrow does not appear to be correctly oriented. OK 3) Provide MEC calculations. OK E2.1 1) Provide a disconnect and overload protection for EF2. NEW: See comment E1.1 #1 above. In addition reduce the circuit breakers in panel B circuits 38 and 40 to 15 amps. As an option you may provide a design that complies with 99NEC 430-52(a)(b)(c). You must demonstrate compliance on the plan set. 2) Provide a note requiring compliance with 99NEC 517-13 on the plan. NEW: Neither general anesthesia or life support equipment is requisite for compliance with article 517. I strongly recommend you read 99NEC Definitions. Specifically: Ambulatory Health Care Centers, Patient Care Area, and General Care Areas. Subsequent to Definitions move forward to 99NEC 517-13 and comply. E4.1 1) Provide the gutter size for the service. NEW: See comment E1.1 #1 and comply. 2) Provide the existing service disconnect ampacity. NEW: See comment E1.1 #1 and comply. 3) Provide fault current calculations. Include both the new and existing service disconnects and panels. NEW: Existing panel A must have a withstand rating > the fault current at it's line terminals. Provide a fault current analysis from the point of origin to the final point of termination for panel A feeder. If panel A is listed and labeled for bracing values > then the actual fault at it's line terminals when protected by the fuses you are specifying you may note this on the plan. The annotation shall be in accordance with comment E1.1 #1 above. Please read 99NEC 90-7, 110-3(a)(b), 110-9, 110-10, 110-22, and 240-86(a)(b). E7.1 1) Specification 16111-2.1-B-3 allows PVC conduit under the slab. 99NEC 517-13 prohibits nonmetallic conduit in any patient care areas. NEW: See comments E1.1 #1 and E2.1 #2 above and comply. |

08/29/2001 | CRAIG GROSS | ZONING | REVIEW | Denied | September 7, 2001 All corrections requested in the May 11, 2001 zoning memo have been made except for the addition of the one (1) parking space. Rather then attempting to apply for a variance (no application to date and it would take at least 2 months if you started now), you may want to entertain adding the additional space to the south end of the western-most row of parking, similar to what you have proposed on the south end of the eastern-most row. |
