1) One of the cases lacks an equipment number. It appears as though it should be #16. See deli area.
2) Provide a bonding jumper from the end of the rigid conduit to each one of the refrigerated cases. See detail 1 and revise as necessary.
E-2
1) Details 1 and 2 item #8 (the water heater) circuit M 39,41 requires a disconnect. See 99NEC 422-31(b)
2) The water heater circuit M 39,41 is depicted as 80 amps in the panel. A 30 amp circuit breaker is utilized to protect the circuit. (see page E3) The equipment schedule item #8 indicates #10 phase conductors with an undersized #12 equipment ground. If the load in the panel is incorrect revise it accordingly and increase the ground wire size to #10. See 99NEC 250-122. If the panel load is correct revise the entire circuit as necessary.
3) The equipment item #2 pointed to the wiremold in detail 3 should be #10. See the equipment schedule.
4) Detail 1 references note 19 for equipment item #3. Clarify.
5) Equipment item #10 served by the 30 amp circuit is required to utilize a #10 ground. The #12 depicted is too small. See 99NEC 250-122
E-3
1) The new 25 hp motor is 480 volt therefore the code load is only 34 amps. The circuit including the overcurrent device is excessively large.
2) Provide lock off devices for all circuit breakers controlling the cases or provide a disconnect at each case. See 99NEC 422-31(b)
3) Circuit M 15,17 should be a 2 pole 30 amp circuit breaker (the breaker is in the wrong space). In addition the load in the panel does not match the equipment schedule. (See item #10 on page E-2)
4) Circuit M 13 should be served by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker.
5) Provide a complete one line service diagram which includes all relevant details. Assess the loads due to the new work on each portion of the one line and in addition drive all the new loads back to the service. Provide a total load (both existing and new as a result of the remodel) on each portion of the distribution system and the main service.
GENERAL COMMENT
1) See the blue line plans that I have redlined for reference. Return the plans I have already reviewed along with your next submission.
