Zoning cannot approve the proposed retaing/patio wall permit at this time. The maximum height of a patio wall with a retaining wall allowed is ten feet.

The proposed wall height from finished grade is 13 feet. The wall is to be built approximately 10 feet from the property line. If the wall can be placed at 21 feet from the nearest edge of travel lane a variance would not be required. If the wall is built within 21 feet from the nearest edge of travel lane an application to the Board of Adjustment for a variance and an approval of the variance request is required prior to approval of the wall permits.

You may contact Craig Gross or Patricia Gehlen to see if a waiver may be requested for the wall height and location.

Please draw, label, and dimension the property line from the face of curb.
