Grading Notes 5 and 7 specify that scarification should be conducted to a depth of 6-inches. It should be noted that Section 8.6 of the geotechnical report prepared by ATL, Incorporated recommends scarification to a depth of 8-inches. 3. Grading Note 9 should be removed from the plan as grading work should conform to the standards set forth in Chapter 33 of the most recent edition of the U.B.C. as stated in Grading Note 1. 4. Detail Section G on sheet 2 shows a "new 48" fence location." This implies that the fence is constructed by these plans and the notation should be revised. 5. The consultant should verify approval requirements from ADOT for construction of new curb and pavement within the ADOT right-of-way as shown on these plans. 6. The plans should note that a Right-Of-Way Excavation Permit will be required for the installation of the retention basin bleed off pipe connection to the existing stormdrain catchbasin. 7. The proposed 5-foot fence shown at the right side of detail section J, Retention Basin, should be shown at the top of the basin side slope in accordance with detention/retention basin security barrier requirements. 8. The plan should indicate how and to where the drain in the loading dock will discharge and provide details as necessary. 9. The plan proposes grading and paving within the 100-year FEMA floodplain. A floodplain use permit must be obtained from the City of Tucson Engineering Division/Floodplain Section prior to grading plan approval. 10. All redlines should be returned with the next plan submittal.
