Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (PCRWRD) hereby "Approves" Saguaro Trails, Blocks 1-10 as submitted on March 24, 2017. This approval is for elements related to the sewer system only.
Approval will need to be reobtained if the scope of the project changes that may impact the sewer. This also could include the language in the Dedication as well as easements for utilities/sewers. We request the applicant to contact RWRD-DLU to discuss what action if any shall be required. If the jurisdiction requires RWRD signature on the Mylar and there has been changes without communication it could delay the obtaining of RWRD's signature.

SUMMARY: Engineering Division of Planning and Development Services Department has received and reviewed the proposed Development Plan Package. The following items need to be addressed:
1) Per previous comment 13, Tucson Code Section 26-8E and AM 2-06.4.9O please show erosion hazard setback line work where it is missing on sheets 8 and 9 in the vicinity of the western most tributary based on calculations for the erosion hazard setbacks per UDC 7.14.4, Section 7.6.1 as shown in Appendix B (Erosion Hazard Setback calculations. Please update accordingly.
2) Per previous comment 14 and UDC 7.14.4, section 8.4 the maximum rise in the 100 year floodplain elevation shall not exceed one-tenth of a foot. Please update the last paragraph in section III of the drainage report on page 4 to reflect this requirement instead of the current reference to one tenth foot rise at the property boundary or the previous reference to minimal backwater effects. This will require an update to the culvert calculations for the proposed Drexel Road such that increases in water surface elevation do not exceed 1/10 of a foot.
