The drawings of the Final Plat for the proposed project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (PCRWRD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use.

The PDEQ and the PCRWRD hereby reject the above referenced submittal of the Final Plat as received by us on October 11, 2011, for the following reasons:

1. Item #4, from the review letter dated October 27, 2011, has not been adequately addressed. “RWRD has an active sanitary sewer in the 23rd Street right-of-way. Provide the recording information for the vacation (release) of this public asset. Per Bill Knight, Program Manager’s letter to Mr. Rossi, dated February 18, 2011, RWRD retains an easement over the public sewer line (see attached). Revise the plat as appropriate.”

• Show an existing public sewer easement in the vacated right-of-way for 23rd Street, or dedicate an easement over existing sewer G-253, by this plat.

• Label the portion of the easement that will be released or vacated with a label that read something like:
“To be Vacated by Separate Instrument,” with a “Sequence # ___________’ line.
