07/26/2011 DAVID MANN COT NON-DSD FIRE Denied Fire Comments:

The Note 29 from the original plans: "Fire Hydrants Shall be Provided..." remains but some areas show hydrants and others do not. Put on all the hydrants or take them off. As currently shown most areas do not comply with the old or new fire codes. Final hydrant locations will be on the water plan.

Some of the lots are now large enough to have a 3600 square foot roof coverage. That would require a 1750 gallon per minute water supply, not the 1000 on the original note 33.

The Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (PCRWRD) has reviewed the proposed sewer collection lines for the above-referenced project. The following comments are offered for your use:

Sheets 10: Include a note which indicates that HCS connections will be made separately for each lot at 90 degrees to the street fronting property line. (Ref D, F, H and I)

Sheet 10: Along Tiger Lilly Lane, show on plan the existing private sewer lines called out as to be abandoned and stubbed at the property line. (Ref D,F,H and I)

This office will require a revised set of bluelines, and a response letter, addressing these comments. Additional comments may be made during the review of these documents.
