The proposed sewer collection lines for the above-referenced project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use.

The Pima County Department of Environmental Quality and Wastewater Management Department hereby approve the above referenced submittal of the final plat as submitted 12/26/07.

Please note the following: Approval of the above referenced submittal does not authorize the construction of public or private sewer collection lines, or water distribution lines. Prior to the construction of such features, a Construction Authorization (Approval To Construct) may need to be obtained from the Pima County Environmental Quality.

Also, air quality activity permits must be secured by the developer or prime contractor from the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality before constructing, operating or engaging in an activity which may cause or contribute to air pollution.

COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings along a response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments regarding the Land Use Code and Development Standards were addressed.

1. An applicant has one (1) year from the date of submittal of the final plat to obtain approval that complies with zoning and other development requirements in effect at the time of application. This final plat must be approved and recorded on or before January 10, 2009.

2. Per the web version of Mapguide, the water course labeled as Santa Cruz River on the location map is actually named as "West Branch Diversion Channel". Double check with the DSD Engineering section for correct watercourse name. Revise this water course label on the location map as required. DS 2-03.6.1.D.2

3. This re-subdivision of the Casitas Del Sol Final Plat has been assigned a new case number S08-007. List the new case number in the lower right corner of the plan sheets next to the title block. DS 2-03.6.1.K

4. Please place the recording data block under the Approval block. The current City Clerk Kathleen Detrick is retiring effective February 1, 2008. Revise the approval text block with Roger W. Randolph listed as the City clerk. DS 2-03.6.3.D

5. If applicable, show on the plat no-vehicular access easements. DS 2-03.6.4.H

6. If applicable show detention/retention areas in a surveyable and readily retraceable manner. DS 2-03.6.4.I

7. Provide a copy of the CC&R's with the next submittal of the final plat. DS 2-03.6.6

8. It is understood from the rezoning staff that the rezoning case and the proposed development is a change of concept and that Mayor and Council must approve the proposed development. Additional conditions may added by Mayor and Council. The revised rezoning case number, date of approval has to be listed on the final plat. New conditions of rezoning may have to be listed on the final plat as well.

9. Approval of the final plat may be subject to new rezoning approval and conditions.
