10/20/2008 | JOE LINVILLE | LANDSCAPE | REVIEW | Denied | 1) Variance case C10-91-60 requires berms and or landscaping in lieu of a masonry wall to provide screening along the west property boundary. 2) Based on our review of the case files, the variance request applied to only the northern half of the western property boundary. The southern half requires a masonry screen wall. Please call 837-4947 if you have any questions or would like an opportunity to present additional information. |
10/21/2008 | ANDY VERA | ENV SVCS | REVIEW | Denied | 1. All lots, with the exception of lot #1, do not demonstrate adequate manueverability to position collection vehicle perpendicular to enclosure within the 14 ftx 40 ft minimum required clear approach. Recommend repositioning enclosures to a 30 degree angle to allow for an adequate approach and manueverability for collection vehicle. 2. Sheet 3 - Building #5, does not allow adequate approach or manuevering due to immediate left turn. Recommend moving enclsoures further west and demonstrate ability to manuever and approach enclosure area from the left turn requirement without requiring backing. DS 6-01.4.1.H. 3. Lot 5 does not show an enclosure. Add a single ienclosure for this lot. Nearest enclosure is in excess of 100 ft...not adequate for user access. 4. Lot 4 buildings 4 thru 7 demonstrate centralized enclosures that would not reasonably designate a user for each. Provide a general note stating that "One single owner, property management, or association (specify which) will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the solid waste collection service/s and storage area/s for all buildings/development." Or designate an enclosure for each building and call out. Please provide corrections on resubmittal. If you have any questions you may contact Andy Vera at (520) 791-5543 ext 1212 or e-mail: Andy.Vera@tucsonaz.gov |
