The proposed sewer collection lines to serve the above-referenced project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use.

1. It is recommended that the designer familiarize himself with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality's Engineering Bulletin #11. Specifically, Chapter IV, Section D, "Design Details". This design appears to have cleanouts located in places that require manhole structures. Please review the requirements of Bulletin #11 (page IV-9) and insure that manholes are provided at all locations of the 8"
sewer line that have a change in grade, direction and/or alignment, at intersections, etc.

The next submittal of this project will be the 4th submittal. A check for the review fee of this submittal in the amount of $39.00 per sheet, made out to PIMA COUNTY TREASURER must accompany the revised set of bluelines and response letter.

09/27/2006 JOE LINVILLE LANDSCAPE REVIEW Approv-Cond The Landscape Section conditionally approves the project subject to compliance with the following conditions and approval of the WASH Case. Note the case number and date of approval on all plans.

1) Revise tree planters located in vehicle overhang areas such that the trees are planted at the edge of adjoining spaces, rather than centered in the front of the parking space. Revise both the landscape and development plans. DS 2-06.3.3.E

2) Slopes for retention/detention basins are required to have slopes no steeper than 4:1 where depths exceed three feet, 3:1 for unprotected side slopes and 2: 1 for protected slopes for depths less than three feet. Revise basin slopes.

3) A covenant is requied to allow the use an existing screen on an adjacent property to meet screening requirements. When executed, provide a copy of the recorded covenant for use the existing screen(s) on adjacent property. Certificates of Occupancy will not be issued until the wall requirements are met. 4) Revise the landscape plans to indicate the preservation of existing vegetation along the Rose Hill Wash and to identify the species proposed between the parking lot and the trail easement.

The above referenced plan has been CONDITIONALLY APPROVED by the Community Design Review Committee, subject to the revisions required on the mylars. Please submit the following documents for sign-off:

1 Reproducible Océ or Photo Mylar of the Plat, Landscape Plan and NPPO.

Additional blackline copies will be made from the complete set and distributed to various review agencies for their files. These copies will be ordered from the City's contracted print company and billed to you unless you already have an account at another printing company. Please let us know which printing company you would prefer to use and list them on your attached transmittal form when submitting your mylars to the CDRC office for sign-off approval. Your printing company will deliver the mylar and three (3) blackline copies to your office. If you are out of town you will need to contact the printing company for pick up or mailing arrangement options.

PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL OF THE MYLARS TO THE CDRC OFFICE, THEY MUST BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY PIMA COUNTY WASTEWATER.

The Engineering Division has reviewed the Development Plan and Drainage Report for Grant Road Professional Plaza and recommends approval at this time subject to the following conditions:

1. The Development Plan/Tentative Plat must show maneuverability for the appropriate design vehicle for access to each loading zone and for the solid waste enclosures.
2. The Development Plan/Tentative Plat must clearly indicate where curb access ramps will be provided throughout the project area. If curb access ramps are not provided near each handicapped parking space, indicate how access will be provided. If the sidewalk is flush with the adjacent pavement, additional truncated domes may be required.
3. The Development Plan/Tentative Plat must show sufficient landings for all curb access ramps.
