Pima County Development Services Department Development Review Division (Wastewater) SUBJECT: Grant Road Professional Plaza Development Plan/ Tentative Plat-3rd Submittal, S06-076 The proposed sewer collection lines to serve the above-referenced project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use. 1. It is recommended that the designer familiarize himself with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality's Engineering Bulletin #11. Specifically, Chapter IV, Section D, "Design Details". This design appears to have cleanouts located in places that require manhole structures. Please review the requirements of Bulletin #11 (page IV-9) and insure that manholes are provided at all locations of the 8" sewer line that have a change in grade, direction and/or alignment, at intersections, etc. The next submittal of this project will be the 4th submittal. A check for the review fee of this submittal in the amount of $39.00 per sheet, made out to PIMA COUNTY TREASURER must accompany the revised set of bluelines and response letter.
