05/04/2006 | FRODRIG2 | PIMA COUNTY | WASTEWATER | Denied | May 4, 2006 TO: Steven Hill, P.E. Leadstar Engineering THRU: Patricia Gehlen City of Tucson, Development Services Department FROM: Dickie Fernández, E.I.T. Pima County Development Services Department Development Review Division (Wastewater) SUBJECT: Silverbell Crossings, Lots 1-143 and Common Areas A-D Tentative Plat – 4th Submittal S04-188 The proposed sewer collection lines to serve the above-referenced project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use. As requested on January 11, 2006, written authorization by the City of Tucson to grant public sewer easements is required. While Eric Wieduwilt (Pima County WMD) may have approved the design of the sewer, he is not employed by City of Tucson and thus this requirement has not been accomplished. Copy of the signed agreement with WAPA is not attached with your submittal as stated in your response letter. Please submit this agreement. Be aware that, as stated by Eric Wieduwilts comments, a formal variance request will be required prior to approval of the sewer improvement plans for this project. Without this signed variance, the sewer improvement plans may not be approved. SHEET 4. Delete the sewer easement across common area C. SHEET 8. Remove the sewer easement label on lot 40. SHEET 8. The sewer easement shall include the section of sewer line that is not protected by the easement. Please revise as necessary and apply this revision to other sheets as required. SHEET 9. Label the existing public sewer easement protecting G-65-19 and show its corresponding recording information. SHEETS 3- 9. Revise the sewer design so that the proposed public sewer is properly labeled. Several sewer reaches and manholes are labeled as existing, however they are proposed. We will require a revised set of drawings and a response letter addressing each comment. Additional comments may be made during the review of these documents. The next submittal of this project will be the 5th submittal. A check for the review fee of this submittal in the amount of $117.00 made out to PIMA COUNTY TREASURER must accompany the revised set of bluelines and response letter. For any questions regarding the fee schedule, please go to http://www.pimaxpress.com/SubDivision/Documents/Fees.PDF where you may find the appropriate wastewater review fees at the bottom of page 1. If the number of sheets changes, please adjust the review fee accordingly. If you have any questions regarding the above mentioned comments, please contact me. Sincerely, Dickie Fernández, E.I.T.
