The proposed sewer collection lines to serve the above-referenced project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use.

1. A public Sewer Service Agreement for the proposed number of residential lots was e-mailed with the previous wastewater review letter on August 2, 2004. The owner of record shown in this submittal has changed, thus a revised sewer service agreement is being e-mailed with this review letter. After three original Sewer Service Agreements have been signed by the Owner of Record, the three originals should be returned to Pima County Wastewater Management in order to satisfy the necessary requirements needed to approve this final plat.

2. SHEET 4. Common Area A between lots 31 and 32 may remain at 30 feet of width if and only if the sewer is 16 feet deep or less. Should the proposed sewer be 17 feet deep or more, the width of this common area will have to be revised according the PC/COT Standard Details WWM A-3.

3. Subject to the above, the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality and Wastewater Management Department hereby approve the above referenced submittal of the final plat.

Please note the following: Approval of the above referenced submittal does not authorize the construction of public or private sewer collection lines, or water distribution lines. Prior to the construction of such features, a Construction Authorization (Approval To Construct) may need to be obtained from the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality.

Also, air quality activity permits must be secured by the developer or prime contractor from the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality before constructing, operating or engaging in an activity which may cause or contribute to air pollution.

The subject project has been reviewed. The revised Final Plat is acceptable and it is recommended for approval subject to the following:

1. Submit an approvable complete Assurance Package.
2. Submit revised copies of the CC & R's that specifically address the maintenance of the drainage facilities. Add language in the text, which addresses the maintenance of the drainage structures in details (i.e. what facilities to be inspected and maintained, how, when, by whom, the detention/retention basin maintenance list, keeping records, and repair decisions, etc). Please be advised that this Office recommends including the Detention/Retention maintenance checklist in the CC & R's to allow the Home Owners Association access to it and facilitate their maintenance responsibilities.

Prepare a detailed response that explains the revisions that were made and references the exact location in the CC & R's where the revisions were made.

01/05/2005 DAN CASTRO ZONING REVIEW Approv-Cond The Zoning Review Section approves the final plat for this subdivision, subject to the following changes on the executed final plat. However, should there be any changes requested by other CDRC members, the Zoning Review Section approval is void, and we request copies of the revised final plat to verify that those changes do not affect any zoning requirements.

Provide a copy of the revised CC&R's to verify the following:
Under the Recitals block on the cover sheet of the CC&R's please correct the number of lots listed for Village 2. The CC&R's submitted with the tentative plat, incorrectly lists Village 2 as Lots 1-75. Correct number is lots 1-146.

01/05/2005 GLYNDA ROTHWELL UTILITIES TUCSON ELECTRIC POWER Denied Tucson Electric Power Company (TEP) has reviewed the final plats. TEP is
unable to approve these plats at this time.

In order for this Company to approve the final plats, the following will be
required.
* Village 2 - 10' x 10' easements are required for the following
equipment: the transformer and junction cabinet north of Lot 1 and the
junction cabinet south of Lot 45.
Show all requested easements on the resubmittals of the final plats. Submit
two bluelines of each plat to the City of Tucson for TEP's final approval.
