The proposed final plat for the above-referenced project has been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use.



We will send to your office via e-mail, a .pdf file containing a Sewer Service Agreement for the proposed number of residential lots. Three originals will need to be printed out from this file for notarized signatures by the Owner of Record. The three signed originals of the Agreement must be returned to this office in order to satisfy the necessary requirements needed to approve the Mylars of the final plat.

Sheet 1: In the DEDICATION block, 4th paragraph, 1st sentence. Although the City Of Tucson accepts that easements are granted to the PUBLIC, Pima County prefers that:

These elements be GRANTED AS EASEMENTS TO CITY OF TUCSON, PIMA COUNTY AND ALL UTILITY COMPANIES…

Sheet 1: The streets are dedicated to the public and the sewers beneath the public streets will be public sewers. The house connection sewers (HCS) are private from the individual dwelling to the point of connection to the public sewer and are the responsibility of the lot owners. Revise the DEDICATION block, 4th paragraph, last sentence so that:

PRIVATE SEWERS are removed from the list of elements that the ASSOCIATION WILL ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR.

Subject to the above, the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality and Wastewater Management Department hereby approve the above referenced submittal of the final plat. The required revision(s) may be shown on the Mylars.

Please note the following: Approval of the above referenced submittal does not authorize the construction of public or private sewer collection lines, or water distribution lines. Prior to the construction of such features, a Construction Authorization (Approval To Construct) may need to be obtained from the Pima County Environmental Quality.

Also, air quality activity permits must be secured by the developer or prime contractor from the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality before constructing, operating or engaging in an activity which may cause or contribute to air pollution.

The above referenced project has been CONDITIONALLY APPROVED by the Community Design Review Committee. Please make the any necessary corrections and submit the following documents:

(2) Title reports current within the last (30) days.
(1) Executed Final Plat Double Matte Océ or Photo Mylar.
(1) * Check made to "Reproductions, Inc." in the amount of $8.50 per plat page for Mayor & Council distribution.
(1) * Check made to "Reproductions, Inc." in the amount of $55.00 per plat page for recorded plat distribution.
(1) Check made to "Pima County Recorder" in the amount of $20.00 per plat page plus a $4.00 handling fee, along with CC&R fees if applicable. CCR fees are $9.00 for the first 5 pages and $1.00 for each additional page.
(1) Executed and notarized CC&Rs (if applicable).

*Please do not combine the checks for "Reproductions, Inc.". They are processed at different times and require separate checks. An account number is also acceptable.

Assurances (if applicable) must be reviewed by the City Attorney's Office prior to being presented to the Mayor and Council. Plats, CCR's and assurances must be approved at the same Mayor and Council Meeting. Please expect 3 -4 weeks from the date submitted to the date scheduled for Mayor and Council approval.
